Neyland Stadium

Neyland stadium is located in Knoxville, Tennessee. It is the home to the UT vols and is the largest stadium in the south. When first built in 1921, it could only hold 3200 people, but after 17 expansion projects, it now can hold more than 102,000 people. UT has had 73 winning seasons at this stadium. The highest attendance at this stadium was in 2004 against florida with 109,061 people attending.



The Thompson-Boling Arena Assemby Center and Arena

This arena which is only smaller than the Carrier Dome in Syracuse can hold up to 24,535 people. This arena has concerts and conventions throughout the year, but is home to the Vols and the Lady Vols. The arena opened in 1987 and the court is called "The Summitt" after the Lady Vols head coach Pat Summitt. The record attendance for this arena for a mens basketball game is 25,610 people in 1989. People such as Britany Spears,Kayne West and Garth Brooks have held concerts here.
