Hairspray!

In Hairspray it's 1962 - the '50s are out and change is in the air. Baltimore's Tracy Turnblad, a big girl with big hair and an even bigger heart, has only one passion--to dance. She wins a spot on the local TV dance program, "The Corny Collins Show" and, overnight, and goes from outsider to teen celeb. But can a trendsetter in dance and fashion get rid of the program's reigning princess, win the heart of Link Larkin, and integrate a television show without getting kicked off? Hairspray was also made into a movie with John Travolta, Michelle Pfeiffer, Christopher Walken, Amanda Bynes, James Marsden, Queen Latifah, Brittany Snow, Zac Efron, Elijah Kelly, Allison Janney, and Nikki Blonsky. The show on the stage is a much more impressive feat, but this is also an amazing movie.
