Lynyrd Skynyrd had a southern rock theme for their music.
They were the first band that did this whos music became very popular. They
had songs such as "Sweet Home Alabama" and "Freebird" that were very popular.
Many people still listen to Lynyrd Skynyrd today.
The band members of Lynyrd Skynyrd are Ronnie Van Zandt,
Gary Rossington, Allen Collins, Leon Wilkison, Bob Burns, Billy Powell, Ed King, Artemus Pyle
and Steve Gains. Tragically, the band was killed in a plane crash in 1977. But fortunately
millions of people still love Lynyrd Skynyrd's music.
