World of Warcraft if a MMORPG. MMORPG stands for Massively Multiplayer Role Playing Game.
World of Warcraft, sometimes abbreviated as WoW comes from a long line of RTS (Real Time Strategy)
games. These games, the Warcraft series, was made by Blizzard. World of Warcraft comes immediately
after Warcraft III. It is a unique game because it now the player is just one character instead of
leading an entire army of soldiers. In the middle of The war now consists of two main armies of the
Horde and of the Alliance.
